Selling my 2002 Honda CBR954rr Fireblade
I have owned this bike 10 years. I originally bought it as a track bike with only track fairings. After not getting to the track as often as I wanted to I decided to register it so I could ride on the weekend with friends. So some money was spent on some road going fairings, headlight and all the other road running gear required for rego. Bike was blue slipped easy and I had it registered for about 4yrs. It is currently out of registration now as when it was due I didnt have the money for it. I was going to re register it this summer however my work schedule fairly well stops me riding it now enough that I can't justify keeping it any longer.
It has been a reliable bike and has provided me with a lot of enjoyment. The bike is currently in road trim at the moment, and will come with the road and track fairings. The track fairings have some minor damage from a gentle lowside at eastern creek, the worst part is on the tail cowl which is pictured. Will just require a small patch of fibreglass to repair, or even just be taped up if you dont care to repair it. In road trim it is one seat only as rear seat cowling is fixed. And I never had the rear pegs or seat.
Bike comes with an original titanium exhaust pipe which I bought in case I needed it to pass blue slip which I didnt. However a bracket would be needed to be made up to fit the original pipe as the bike has a half system aftermarket exhaust. Headers are the original titanium pipes.
Bike comes with front and rear stands. Front stand is an Anderson brand. Bike has a Hyperpro steering damper installed. Short anodised levers. Braided front brake lines. The brakes are fantastic on this bike with 320mm rotors. They were a stand out in their day.
Bike is in good condition and has very low kilometres for its age at 12,369 on the clock. Bridgestone S20's are fitted and have plenty of life left in them yet.
I am only selling as time does not allow me to ride much anymore and I wish to make some space and put some money towards hobbies that I currently do have time for.
The bike is located at Lake Munmorah. Unfortunately because it is not registered I cannot allow test rides however this is a good bike and will not disappoint its new owner. Grab yourself in my opinion the best looking Fireblade model ever and ride it. It deserves to be ridden.
